Your child has not shown success as an online learner this school year, and has failed multiple classes. While COVID has presented many challenges to families, students must still learn their academic content, not only to promote to the next grade level, but also be prepared for future academic success. COVID will not last forever, but learning loss will impact present and future success if corrective action is not taken.

Based on this information, Advantage Academy is placing your child on Academic Probation, effective immediately.

Because your child is not being successful in the online learning environment, Advantage Academy is recommending that he/she RETURN TO SCHOOL 100% of the time effective no later than the beginning of second semester, January 19th. If he/she wishes to return earlier, that is also acceptable.

Please complete the following survey prior to the Christmas break (December 18) so that we can know what your decision is regarding your child’s learning mode and can plan accordingly. If you have any questions, please contact your campus’ registrar. Please note that district and campus offices will be closed from December 19 to January 4th.

Su hijo no ha tenido éxito como estudiante en línea este año escolar y ha reprobado varias clases. Si bien COVID ha presentado muchos desafíos a las familias, los estudiantes aún deben aprender su contenido académico, no solo para avanzar al siguiente nivel de grado, sino también para estar preparados para el éxito académico futuro. COVID no durará para siempre, pero la pérdida de aprendizaje afectará el éxito presente y futuro si no se toman medidas correctivas.

Con base en esta información, Advantage Academy está colocando a su hijo en período de prueba académica, con efecto inmediato.

Debido a que su hijo no está teniendo éxito en el entorno de aprendizaje en línea, Advantage Academy recomienda que REGRESE A LA ESCUELA el 100% del tiempo a más tardar al comienzo del segundo semestre, el 19 de enero. Si él / ella desea regresar antes, eso también es aceptable.

Complete la siguiente encuesta antes de las vacaciones de Navidad (18 de diciembre) para que podamos saber cuál es su decisión con respecto al modo de aprendizaje de su hijo y poder planificar en consecuencia.
