I’m extremely happy with this and it can now be my guilty pleasure like pink sugar and midnight fantasy. This isn't necessarily a bad thing for me, however I can see why other reviews are pointing this out as a bad thing.

I have been wearing this in the daytime since getting it but can imagine wearing this on nights out as it is strong and lasts ages, and has more of an ‘edgy’ vibe to it than the original. Personally that is what I did and I like the scent trail i'm getting but these fragrances alone are different and not exactly how the OG was. The last few Britney perfumes I purchased made me feel like I bought an expensive body spray with little lasting power. I don't think they mean't "intense" as in the staying power, but perhaps for the scent's projection itself, as it does come off as a stronger hit of fantasy.Naughty remix was my favorite and that plus the Nice remix and OG Fantasy were beast mode on me(still dont understand why Naughty and Nice were discontinued) but this "Intense" I can barely smell it. When I first smelt this it was very familiar, I knew I had smelt this before, its very similar to Aquolina's "Pink Sugar" perfume, but with a fresh twist - which would be the pear and water lily, which may be the only differing factor between the two fragrances.

I tend to gravitate towards oriental perfumes and I'd describe this as an oriental version of fantasy. Good projection, I walked into a room my husband was in, I was about 10 feet away, he said "you smell nice and sweet. It’s not a major step away from the original, but to me it lacks the intensity and longevity that the og has. When looking at it sitting on my dressing table with no direct sunlight it just appears overall very ‘pink’; however if you hold it up to the light and move it around you can see the rainbow colours. You get a pop of dewberry and an underlying current of sour cherry mixed in with a sugary sweet dry down.

According to the perfumer, this is a unisex fragrance: This fragrance iteration can change and adapt to each person, no matter the gender, because of its multi-faceted palette. My only small gripe is that the sprayer doesn’t work very well, so the perfume leaks when spraying and as a result the gold is starting to chip away from around it.

Having the reformulation of the og which is kinda screechy due to the quince, kiwi and litchee taking center stage this version is much smoother adding syrupy pear.It's Just the right amount of sweet and clean, not heavy at all :) Would say this is a "crowd pleaser" and easy to like for most people. Would be a fun party fragrance but I’m inclined to wear it in the house after a shower or when running errands. I've always been a fan of hers, but there was this period when I had lost interest and her fragrance line didn't quite interest me. As I test it more I prefer even the reformulated Fantasy over the intense because the sweet sour kiwi note is more prominent and candy like, unique and to my tastes. I can detect the OG Fantasy (litchi, cupcake, white chocolate), but they added patchouli and that gives it an air of maturity.
