Both teams know how important it is to get off to a good start to a new season, as it can set the tone for how things go in the coming weeks, so both will be desperate to claim the win today. Today's big game between the Eagles and Falcons has a scheduled start time of 7.10 p.m. ET and can be be watched on TV on the ESPN network. The Eagles have had a very busy offseason and LeSean McCoy, Nick Foles, Evan Mathis, and Trent Cole have all said their goodbyes to Philadelphia for this season. Most of the secondary have gone, and the roster has been widely revamped in a reaction to what was ultimately a disappointing season last year. A new look and hopefully new fortunes will be hoped for by Philadelphia fans this season, and if today's game goes well then the sense of optimism could rise a notch or two.
