I called on a Saturday night, not expecting a reply until Monday. I received a text within minutes, we discussed the price, and we scheduled an appointment for the next day - a Sunday. Milton gave me a window of time for his arrival, then texted me 30 minutes before his actual arrival. He explained the work to be performed before and as he performed it. The number of ants decreased dramatically the first day and then disappeared within days.

When I saw evidence of critter activity, my first call was to a company I’d used to traps raccoons and birds in the last. They came out, identified the “critters” (rats!), set a few traps and left. The rat activity increased and none of the haphazardly places traps caught anything. Frustrated and disappointed, I asked a few friends and a property management company who they recommend and surprisingly they all said MTB Pest Control. I contacted MTB and left a voicemail message describing the issue. I received a prompt response via text message and was able to further explain the issue and set up an appointment for two days later. The day of the appointment, Mr. Brown of MTB arrived promptly (early, actually), showed respect for my home by wearing show covers immediately, and got down to business. He did a thorough inspection, plugged up holes that weren’t current entry point, but had the potential to be, and put down more traps than even the stealthiest of rats could not avoid. He was friendly, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. Every aspect of it was a far better experience than what I received from the “highly reputable” company I initially called. Based on this experience I will definitely be using them again should the need arise.

He's a nice fella. He showed up on time. He wandered around. We put on some Jazz and had a good time throughout the afternoon. You don't always get what you pay for but if you don't pay for it, you're not going to get it. He's very nice. We don't have any more mice so we don't need to use them.

Technician was punctual, polite (removed shows without my asking), friendly. Did thorough inspection of the items in question. Will use in the future. Local, family business.

It went well. Milton scheduled us as soon as we called him and was available the next day. He also arrived well within his stated arrival time, and waited for us for a little while - we had texted him that an emergency was taking us away from home for about 15 minutes. He inspected and left traps and explained to us how mice often gain access to our kind of house. He was extremely helpful and we would definitely use him again.

My wife and I had been suspecting an insect problem in our bedroom for several weeks because she continued to have insect bite mark on her arms and legs. We found MTB Pest Control on Angie's List and were able to get on their schedule for the following week. Milton Brown, Jr came to our home on the appointed day and, after an inspection of the bedroom, confirmed a substantial bedbug infestation located primarily in the box spring under our mattress. He told us that the infestation had probably resulted from my wife's several day hospital stay the previous month. After we agreed to the quoted charge for the extermination service, Mr. Brown Jr completed day one of a three-day extermination process which covered a three-week period. Over the next two weeks, Milton Brown Sr. came on each of the appointed days, and completed days two and three of the treatment process. Thereafter, MTB gave us a 30-day guarantee of full extermination; and within that guarantee period, Mr. Brown Jr returned to our home and confirmed that the bedroom was bedbug free; and he also gave us an additional extermination treatment without charge.

Milton arrived on time and treated my roof (my main area of concern), though it was not included in the deal. He gave me good advice on dealing with things myself as well.

He sprayed around the house and indoors.

Very dependable, knowledgeable and came on time. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. He put traps down and poison in the crawlspace.

MTB was absolutely phenomenal! I would HIGHLY recommend them! They were very responsive, professional, and performed the work right away, unlike some of their competitors who force you to wait for 2 appointments - an evaluation and a treatment - NOT what you want when you are dealing with pests in your home. We had an ant issue but I was very concerned that any treatments be safe for our toddler and pets and they took pains to explain everything to me and help me choose a safe option. The technician was friendly, professional, and did a great job. If you have pests (and I hope you don't!), you MUST consider using MTB!

Mr. B was very professional and personable. For more money (sometimes a lot more money), you could get a more complete inspections with dogs, but I felt quite comfortable with the inspection we got, and we've had no problems since.

Milton arrived at our house a little later than anticipated, but I know that sometimes other jobs can take longer than expected. He was very nice and very professional. We had been finding Carpenter ants all over our house. Thankfully, they were coming in from outside, and had not actually set up shop in our walls. He came and sprayed all of our baseboards in the house. He was in and out in about 45 minutes. Four months later and we still have not seen another carpenter ant.

I ordered Carpenter Ant Extermination service from MTB Pest Control via an Angie's List coupon at a discount rate of $175. Milton (the owner of the company) arrived on site and sprayed chemicals around the perimeter of the house and inside around all of the baseboards throughout the entire house, including behind the appliances in the kitchen. Upstairs, where there was obvious indication of carpenter ants in the frame of a window, he injected additional chemicals throughout window frame to ensure that they would be exterminated. Morris was very professional and a very nice man. I would recommend MTB Pest Control to anyone needing extermination services.

Took a week or more to get back to me after a call and an email. Showed up and spotted/resolved one issue, but said there was nothing that can be done about rats in attic/walls. Unsure if that's true, but don't think so. Will have to get someone else to come address rat problem. Was only in the house 20 minutes or so, but did address one of the bigger issues. Will have to get someone else to finish the services.

They're awesome. We've used them before. We've actually used them twice. They're wonderful and they're great. It's a father-son team. They're very, very thorough. They're on time. They answer calls immediately. They educate us on how to prevent things in the future. They're very, very clean. It was just really great. For what they did, it was very appropriately priced.

It was okay. It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. He didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. He plugged up a couple holes but then again it wasn't something we couldn't have done ourselves. He was on time and punctual and very polite.

I had to call them back three times because of the infestation. It was very reasonable. He came out immediately and he said if we have any further problems we call him back because it was a serious infestation. We had to legally get rid of the tenants and so he came back and over a months time it was cleared up. He always let us see where he was working and how bad the infestation was. He took care of the outside and the inside.

MTB was professional and thorough in their inspection. He indicated that there were previous signs of the insect. However, there were live insects found. I appreciate the honesty of the pest inspector. If the need arises, I plan to use this contractor in the future.

MTB responded to a Big Deal that I purchased. The contractor spent no more than 15 minutes putting down glue traps, said he did not do any sealing of areas where the mice might be coming in, but he recommended and referred me to his ex brother in law. I called that individual, who came and charged me another $200 to seal areas in my kitchen that he said were vulnerabilities. After about an hour of work, he left. A month later mice were back, and I called him and he agreed to come back. However, he canceled twice claiming family emergencies. A third time, he simply failed to show up. When I called him on this, he had no excuses and did not even offer to come back. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

He was prompt, cheerful, gave good advice, set traps, and returned to inspect.
